My reads 2016

My reading has come so drastically since I took up quilting. This year I am going to correct it. And also keep a list of the books I read.

January
1. Evans above By Rhys Bowen
       - would give it a three star rating. Feels like a grown up version of the five findouters.
2. Evans and Elle by Rhys Bowen
3. Evans above by Rhys Bowen
4. Selection by Kiera Cass
5.The Prince by Kiera Cass
6. The Elite by Kiera Cass
7. The Favourite by Kiera Cass
8. Marriage of convenience Boxed set of four novels
Oops I forgot to write what I read. So maybe not monthwise but here I go. Books that left an impression.
Tana French - In the woods and The likeness. Love them.
Karen Charlton - regency setting and detection
The heiress of Linn Hagh
The Sans Pareil Mystery (Detective Lavender Mysteries, #2)
The Sculthorpe Murder (Detective Lavender Mysteries #3)
The Mystery of the Skelton Diamonds: A Detective Lavender Short Story
The Picadilly pickpocket
Catching the Eagle
Seeking our eagle
The Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. First book was riveting. Other two could have been compressed into 100 pages.
Girl waits with gun
Lady Loop makes trouble
The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale
Enna burning by Shannon Hale
The glass blowers by
A pair of fine gentlemen by Suzanne Downes - the detection bit was good but a bit old fashioned writing.
The Hanover Square Affair by Ashley Gardner - okay reading. Won't pay to read the next book type.
Cinder by Marissa Meyer - interesting twist on a fairy tale.
